Greg Lansing founded Lansing Companies in 1984, establishing it as the foremost authority in Southern California land development. With a legacy spanning over 40 years, Lansing has shaped communities and driven economic growth through strategic investments in master-planned communities, commercial, industrial, and renewable energy developments.

In 2024, Nick Lansing launched Lansing Capital Group to expand our investment opportunities and make them more accessible to a broader range of investors. This new arm of Lansing Companies was created to help more individuals and institutions achieve their investment goals through our proven approach to land development. Lansing Capital Group provides exclusive access to high-demand land development opportunities, continuing our tradition of investor-first success.

Mark Clairmont

Mark Clairmont

Mark Clairmont has over 19 years of experience representing land developers, real estate investors, and property managers. Formerly with Union Pacific Railroad, he litigated a landmark quiet title case. At Lansing Companies, he oversees all legal matters. Mark holds a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego and a B.A. in Political Science from UC Irvine.

Kirk Spotts

As CFO of Lansing Capital Group, Kirk Spotts oversees financial management for over 100 corporate entities, including tax compliance, cash flow, and ROI analysis. He also serves as the primary liaison with bankers and lenders. Kirk holds a Master of Science in Accounting and is a licensed CPA in California.

Casey Malone

Project Manager & GIS Analyst

Casey Malone

Casey Malone has played a key role in property entitlements, due diligence, marketing, and investor relations. With a B.A. in Geography and GIS certification, he has leveraged GIS technology to support property acquisitions and marketing efforts. Notably, he led the entitlement of a 62-unit apartment complex in Ramona, gaining community support for the project.
